I am enjoying it immensely so I thought I would recommend it to you.

The details of the book are:-

Life After Life
Kate Atkinson
ISBN 978-0-385-61868-7

You can find it here - http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Life-After-Life-Kate-Atkinson/9780385618687.
For those of you in Australia who are interested, I saw it in my local Big W for $19.99.

The book tells the story of Ursula Todd.

During the book Ursula gets second and third chances to make different choices in her life. She therefore repeats parts of her life. Although the book is sad in places I also found it very inspiring. Every tragedy that befalls Ursula is dealt with in a sensitive manner.

The book is set during the twentieth century. Some of the most beautiful writing is to be found during the scenes of the Blitz during World War 2. This section of the story also gave a wonderful characterisation to the British spirit during the war.

Kate Atkinson weaves characters in and out of the different scenes. A character who plays a minor role in one life, has far more significance when Ursula chooses a different path.
